Prior to GaragePlug, Rohit Bhatnagar & Ashish Shrivastav (Automotive Domain Expert & Ex- Toyota Kaizen leader) founded a car service marketplace where they interacted with 100s of automotive workshops on a daily basis. Having seen the need and demand for it, they capitalized on the opportunity and pivoted it in 2017 as GaragePlug (SaaS for Auto Repair Shops). Soon after Shubhra Srivastava, the third Co-Founder joined the founding team to double-up the energy and help in global expansion. The leadership team works under the guidance of Kaoru Kuroda who is a global automotive expert with 30+ years experience in Toyota Motor Corp, Japan. He is also an angel investor in the company and supported in the initial stages of the venture.
